Herschel Paul Bentley M.D.

Hi I´m the daughter mentioned in the previous post by April Evans. :) I´m so grateful for Dr Bentley and will forever carry him with me. Thank you Dr Bentley, you truly saved my life and I know you changed the course of life for countless others for the better. You will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.

Oh my I´m so sad I didn´t know when Dr. Bentley passed. I´m Just seeing this. He was so precious to our family! He found our daughter´s cancer and helped us get to St Jude and it is no exaggeration to say, she is healthy today, thanks to him. The world will be a little less bright and sound a little less joyous without his smile and laughter. Oh, and those wonderful bear hugs were the very best! Rest in peace Dr Bentley You made our world a better place.

Dr. Bentley was my childhood Doctor, my sympathies to his famiily.

Hershel was an exceptional person. His laugh and smile eased many patients and parents. He was my teacher, mentor, associate and friend. We will miss him.

He was one of the most caring doctors I have known. While living in mobile I saw first hand his work with special needs children and their parents. His medical gifts were many and given to so many children. Rest In Peace

My sincere Condolences to the Bentley family. Dr. Bentley was my only two children's physician. May he Rest In Peace. He was the best...he will be missed. you all are in my prayers.
