A man of honor and integrity, with a sense of humor and always had a joke to tell. A man who loved his family and was a quiet strong presence of strength and security for his children. He was my father. Thanks for all you gave me!

Growing up during the depression he knew of families that ate sparrows to live while his mother left a mark on her door step left by hobos for where to find a meal. This is not to say he came from a wealthy home in troubled times, but a great one. By all accounts, he was an excellent student, sung in his school choir, enjoyed painting, and loved model airplanes from an early age.
