A voice from Herk's distant past, this is Sharon Kenney, next door neighbor to the Clark Sr. family when we were very little kids on Howard Street. Herkie, as we called him then, was my favorite playmate for our 8 years as neighbors, and I am not surprised to read how loved and admired he was as a grown up. I feel that I could write a book about Herk. From the life of the party to the anticks at work with Cumberland County. He was one of those people that you feel nothing could ever happen to. One that you always felt safe with. Probably the one of the best hunters and fisherman I ever knew. A friend that I will never forget.
