John H. Behrens Former Class Mate /Marine and High School Orchestra under Professor Wickman. Hershel was a gentleman and friend. He will be missed. Love to his family. Sincerely John H. Behrens Cherry log

Dear Maxine,

Karen and I wish to express our sincere sympathy to you and your family on Herschel's passing. We have fond memories of you both from our days on campus and from time to time afterward.
Herschel and I are both members of the High School of Charleston Class of 1943 for which we are currently planning for our 65th reunion. I will be sure that he is remembered in our prayers.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Gus and Karen Marjenhoff

Dear Maxine and Billy,
My sincere sympathy to you in your loss. It has been a very long time since I've seen either of you.
