Not sure what to say?

Thanks Whitey for some of the best times I ever had partying at the Schooner. There was a time about 20-25 years ago when the Schooner was a blast and I even remember that Whitey danced with me once - Power Play was the band playing that night I think.
RIP Whitey & party on!!

My sympathy to Bonnie and Sandy and the family, Whitey was a very good friend to me through the years and I will miss him greatly! Him and Bonnie were like 2nd. parents to me. I will never forget going to Reno, Whitey falling off the curb!! We had a fun walk! Hang in there Bonnie, I know your tough, anything you need...just call.

sorry about your loss. whitey was a great person. my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

So sad to hear he is gone, he was a great man, will be missed by many.

I enjoyed my many chats with Whitey, and found him to be an interesting guy, with great insight. My regards to Bonnie and family, Mike Richards.

Rest in Peace Whitey. Bonnie & family, my condolences on the loss of "Whitey", he was a legend in his own time !! The Schooner back in the 80's & 90's was a hub of fun, partying, pool playing, drinking and seeing all your buddies that were all out doing the same thing , It was the "Place to see, and be seen !! Thank you for so many great years Whitey & Bonnie. Respectfully, Polly Fuller

Whitey was one of the best of the great Eureka bar owners. The Schooner was a "must-go" Saturday night out for many years. His dance hall with the multitude of bands are woven into the memories of many Humboldters. I can't count the nights I spent there.
Above all, he was... if you had his trust... a great, great person to talk to just about anything. He could talk politics, personalities, things going on in town, just everything. It was no surprise to me to walk in sometimes and see...
