Not sure what to say?

Hershel Alpert was a man that was greatly admired and respected within the Furniture Industry. I have had the honor & pleasure to have known him for over 22 years. His work efforts and personal being will be greatly missed, not only in the furniture community, but, the family community that he lived in.
My prayers go out to his family and know that they will celebrate his life by all the great memories that we all share.

Hershel Alpert was a man surrounded by many...wherever he went people waited to talk, to get a hug, or share a story they knew he would be interested in. The furniture industry has lost a dear and treasured family member. His spirit will live on in all whom he touched.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I was sadened to hear of Hershel's passing.
Hershel gave me a chance on Alperts retail floor as a salesman before my career as a manufacturers represenitive when Alperts fist openned back in the early 70's
My condolences to the family

Hershel was like an uncle to me. I first met him my second day on the job at Furniture Today. We were hosting our Leadership Conference, and that was an event that Hersh and the love of his life, his wife, Barbara, never missed.

I was new to the staff at FT and must have looked like a fish out of water. Hersch insisted i join them and from that first day, it was like we were old friends.

Herschel was a mentor, a friend, and just an all-around prince. He loved his family...

It was my distinct pleasure to work with Hershel on the Branding Sub Committee at the Charlton College of Business. I developed a deep admiration for him – he had such passion and drive and we have lost a great leader and friend. My deepest sympathies to the Alpert Family.

Our Deepest Condolences to the Alpert family. We will miss Hershel and
his generous spirit and elegance. A wonderful man, with a warm smile.
