Dr. Goren had such a wealth of medical knowledge that he was always very willing to share. He treated us layman with great respect even though we certainly lacked his medical expertise. I also enjoyed our many lunches together during the years we both served as experts at SSA/ODAR.

Dr. Goren worked hard up until his last days on this earth. He was dedicated to his service as a Medical Expert as well as his love of medicine.

My deepest sympathy to your family. While I was at ODAR Dr. Goren testified as a medical expert before me on many occasions. I valued his intelligence and diligence in analyzing some of the most difficult cases I had to decide. I also appreciated his wry sense of humor off the record. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy. I worked with Dr. Goren at The Cleveland Clinic and at ODAR. He was a brilliant physician who was capable of explaining complex medical conditions to the lay person.
On a personal note, I enjoyed hearing about his cooking adventures as he told me about going page by page through recipe books. We also shared a love for the New York Times.
I--and, I am sure many others--will miss him.

My condolences to your family. Dr. Goren was certainly a man of character and will be sorely missed at the hearings office. I will also miss how he graciously answered my personal medical questions. May God comfort you at this time.
