Carey was such an inspiration to me. She was my greatest mentor and a wonderful friend. She had a tremendous impact on my life and career. I am so grateful that I had her in my life and she will always be in my heart. When Tootsie always introduced me as her 'oldest friend' we would both have a giggle! 40 years is a long time!
There are no words to express the way I feel at the passing of this lovely 'lady'. My heart is heavy at the thought I shall never see her again but I also think of her laughter, love, strength and courage and feel blessed to have known such a wonderful woman. She was a diamond.
