Not sure what to say?

Liebe Elisabeth,

I am sorry that I only recently heard of Herwig's passing. I enjoyed working with Herwig over the years. I ordered and just received (and read) his Reflections of a Multiple Myeloma Patient. It was wonderful of you to publish it - wonderful to "hear" him speak so artfully and with characteristic humor about his condition. Thank you for sharing this.

Mrs. Von Morze,
Sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Mr. Von Morze was such a wonderful person and one of the most gracious patients I had the honor to take care of. He always had a smile on his face even on the worst days. I truly enjoyed being one of his many nurses. He always put a smile on my face when he came into clnic with his "adopted" team Razorback hat on. He will be missed by many here @ MIRT. I pray you find some comfort knowing he has gone to a better place...

Herwig always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. His sense of humor entertained his Syntex colleagues on many occasions. I will miss seeing him at the alumni events. Please take comfort in knowing that Herwig was a beloved member of the Syntex family.

Elizabeth, Cornelius and Leonard our sympathy to each of you and your family. Our family always admired Herwig and have missed seeing you since we moved away. Our prayers are with you.

Herwig was a brilliant but a humble man and I greatly valued his friendship. He will be truly missed.

I had the good fortune to be a friend and colleague of Herwig. He was brilliant and an outstanding person. He will be sorely missed.
