The Vandalia community lost a truely good and honest man.
I was priviledged to have played ball
for Coach. What a great learning experience.
To the Elkins Family my sincere sympathy for your loss.

Dwight Elkins was an icon in the Vandalia-Butler community. His public service and straight-forward attitude is legendary. My sincere condolences to the Elkins family. He was a great man who will always be remembered and sorely missed by his community.

Dwight was a good Mason and a Shriner. I enjoyed working with him at the Hospital Fund Drive. We enjoyed having Him with us at the Brookville Shrine Club. I have a lot of fond memories with Dwight.
