Not sure what to say?

It is difficult to know that your last remaining uncle is now gone and in Heaven but I feel comfort in knowing that H.F. is now with his sister, and my mother, Rachel Meier Thomas. They loved each other as I love them. Best wishes to you Caarolyn. Sue and I love you too.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. H.F. touched many. Please know there are many fond memories of your family. My Mom and Dad were Bud and Frieda(Makowski) Grusendorf.

Aunt Carolyn and family,
H.F. was a special person and we were all blessed to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I love you my Aunt Carolyn Snipes Meier, I know how thrilled H.F. was to find you and I know how happy you were to have him in your life. No words can express the sorrow your family is feeling. We loved H.F. as we love you. Your loss is our loss. Your loving, caring, kind, generous gifts need not reiterated, however, for those whom might not know you as well as your family, words do not suffice. Sincerely, niece Gail

What fond memories we have of H. F.--and how we loved him! We were so blessed to know and share friendship with H.F. over 50 years. We extend our deepest sympathy to each of you. We share your loss and lift you up in our prayers. We love and care about each of you. Charles and Gwen Swearengen

Jean was my first cousin, so I knew Jean & H.F. as a couple since they were in high school. My condolences to his wife and to David & Anna who are my first cousins, once removed and to their sons who are my first cousins, twice removed. I would love to hear from David sometime. The last I knew, he & Anna lived in Dallas.

It was a genuine delight to work with H.F. at Acton UMC. He was always positive, insightful, encouraging, hopeful, and instructive. I remember the deep love he had for people, the amazing stories he told just before the Sunday offering, and the depth he brought to every lesson he taught. He was a one-of-a-kind who advanced the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ each of the more than 50 years he served in ministry!

With deepest sympathy,

HF was one of the most inspirational and positive persons ever encountered. His approach to life will leave a great example for many.
