I am so sorry to hear about Hilary's passing. She was a dear friend and colleague of mine at the UCSD ECEC. I met her in 1983 and always admired her sincerity and positive attitude towards life. She had such a wonderful sense of humor; she would always find a way to make me laugh. She was so kind and had such a big heart for her students. She would go the extra mile and buy extra books and materials for the kids. She always wanted them to enjoy their time at school. Hilary's memory...

I am saddened by Hilary's passing. She was a friend of 20 years, a colleague for many years at the UCSD ECEC, a mentor, and a fine example of a loving, compassionate, beautiful human being. I am sorry to hear about Hilary's death. My daughters and I have many memories hanging out in front of her home with her, Toya and Toya's friend Lynn.
