I am so sorry to hear about Hilary's passing. She was a dear friend and colleague of mine at the UCSD ECEC. I met her in 1983 and always admired her sincerity and positive attitude towards life. She had such a wonderful sense of humor; she would always find a way to make me laugh. She was so kind and had such a big heart for her students.
