Hilda Luz Carrasco, 90 born in Ojinaga Chihuahua passed away Sunday night March 19th.
Hilda was raised in La Mula Chihuahua Mx. She was loved dearly by her family, children, great grandchildren and friends. Hilda loved to entertain and play lotería with everyone who visted her home. She had many talents like sowing and knitting blankets for her loved ones. She wore black as her favorite color but many remember her by her bright red lips and dark hair as her signature look.
Nothing made her family feel her love like her green chicken enchiladas! As the matriarch of the family we all looked up to her for her independence and strong belief in her catholic faith. As a mother of 7 she always had a warm place in her heart for each one of her children. She is survived by one brother Alonso residing in Presidio Tx.
Viewing will be Wednesday, March 22nd from 10am to 9pm and Thursday March 23rd from 9am to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited Thursday at 7pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Friday March 24th at 2pm. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their gratitude at this time to all that have been by our side and shown support during this difficult time with prayer and words of encouragement.
Funeral Service is under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home and Chapel. Family messages and condolences may be emailed to: [email protected] or you can visit our website at www.lewallengarciapipkinfh.com
