Hilda A. Doob

When we joined New Hope in 1999, Hilda was one of the first people we met. It was fun to attend Sunday School with her. She was one sharp lady and such a good listener. Life is difficult as it comes full circle and we loose someone we love. The memories they leave behind will be cherished and she will live on in all of our hearts.
Our sympathies to her family for they have lost a wondeful lady.

I was fortunate to attend New Hope Presbyterian Church with Hilda in Asheville ,NC. She was a remarkable lady. Her wealth of knowledge as well as her open mind constantly amazed me.

Hilda's Family, When Hilda joined New Hope Presbyterian Church here I talked with her about Dr. Art Bannerman, former President of Warren Wilson and was amazed at her alertnness at her age. She was remarkable. Regardless of age we are never ready to give up our loved ones and the only comfort comes from our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends.
