We wanted to send our deapest sympathy in the loss of your mother. Hilda and your father were like second parents to my brother and I growing up in Flagstaff. The memories of those days and the love and kindness that your mother gave to us will never be forgotten. She was a special lady, always with a smile on her face and I don't think she ever met a stranger.

I wanted to share with you just how much your mom meant to me. I worked with her at the NAU Bookstore from January 1972 until July 1976. I will always remember her generosity and open spirit. She brought laughter to our workday and provided motherly advice when asked. We corresponded after I left Flagstaff and she always expressed a genuine interest in my family. We last saw her at her home just before she lost your dad. She spoke so lovingly about her visits to Las Vegas....
