Aunt Hilda you will be greatly missed. Every time we visited her in California, she was so glad that we came. The first time we went were in Lake Tahoe and did not realize what a long trip to LA it was. It 's in the same state? What did I know, I was from back east Ct. She was a rock in her family. Taking care of everyone. I miss you and love you. You will truly be missed.

The Koivu Family May 2012
My family and I were so blessed to have dear Great Aunt Hilda in our lives. She has a special place in the lives of our children because it is rare in one's family to have a "great" relative and our children adored this title and her too. She helped them last year when they did a paper on immigration. Her love and kindnesses towards me, when I was a college student in CA, was the start of a special bond that began to grow. She invited me to come for Thanksgiving whenever I was at college....
