Not sure what to say?

Dear Knol family . I just read about your dear mom´s passing. I remember her as a sweet , kind woman who always had a smile for others. She always seemed to be patient with her family of boys. Even though we knew the antics and craziness that a family of boys can pose for a mom As we remember our moms´ , I know we are grateful to God our Father for the legacy of faith they instilled in us. Much love Knol family.

We remember Hilda and the entire Knol family from Millbrook CRC, many years ago. Our sympathies in the passing of your mother and grandmother, we remember her as a loving and dear woman.

I will always remember Hilda as a strong woman who loved life, giving freely of herself to her family and friends. Her devotion to her grandson David over his entire life was a gift to him as well as his parents Harry and Faye. She will be missed!

Dear family, I am very sad to hear Gonda passed away, however I am thankful she was calm until the end. We all know she is in a better place now, in heaven with our Lord. I have loved her like a sister. Before Jan passed away in 2022, Jan and myself have visited her and the rest of the family many times and we were always thankful for the warm welcome and lovely time we have spent all together. Lots of love to all of the family and we will always remember her in our hearts. Love, aunt Thea

I fondly remember tea time with Hilda in my downstairs apartment. What a beautiful and kind woman.

I will remember her as a warm and gentle person. Over the last few years I have visited the family on a yearly base and once I stayed a couple of days at her place. We had long talks (together at that time with uncle Jerry) and shared memories of our lives. Sometimes we had conversations in Dutch, mixed with the Englisch language. Good laughs, fascinating talks about their immigration to the US after WW II and how they´ve struggled in the beginning to build a whole new life in a totally new...

So sorry to hear of Hilda's passing. I was her aide about 5 years ago. She was always smiling, she was the grandma that I never had. Both were born in the Netherlands so I took to her quick, and we quickly became good friends.

Dear Harry&Faye, your Godly mother is now present with her Lord. She was an amazing mom, grandma and wife
