Read MoreI just happened to Google Hilda and found that she had passed away. Her step-Mom, Lena, and my Mom, Hilde, were sisters. Our family would always spend a week on the farm in Crivitz every summer, and even though Hilda was married and on her own, I still have fond memories of her visits to the farm when we were there. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Jackie and family,

My thoughts and prayers are with the Spchalski family as you celabrate Hilda's life today. I have a lot of fond memories of the Hilda, the Spychalki household and her time at St. John's growing up. Wish I could have joined you today but I am traveling on business.

We sure will miss Hilda at church. She was a wonderful lady. She was interested in how her former pupils were doing. We are in Florida but want to sent our condolences to the whole family.
