Hilda was one of the finest women I've met in my life. I'm grateful to have known her. I'll never forget that even in the worst of circumstances, she could say with a determined smile, "whatta you gonna do?". What an amazing lady.

Aunt Hilda was a dear friend of my grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Heaney. I only met her a few times as a child, but I have heard "Aunt Hilda and Uncle George" stories my whole life. Thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

I have sooo many wonderful memories to treasure when karol and i were growing up together since kindergarten. You were always another loving mom to me. You had a long and wonderful life.

To the large family of Mrs. W. - Having known Karol for most of my adult life, you mom (Grandma) was one of our groups finest women to pattern ourselves after... our "Club" grew out of Hilda's experiences and Karol's suggestion to become like her mom. Always so happy to see all of us. I'm so lucky to have known her, and you are all so blessed by her love.
