My deepest sympathy to family and friends. Hillie's faith in God was exordinary and never waveried during her serious health issues. She never lost her touch with her youthfulness which made it easy for all ages to love her.
I will never forget that she called a Methodist minister in a church near where my son David Anton Swanson went to school in New York to ensure a church family would available to him.

Dear Malcolm and family,
Hillie was and forever will be a reminder of all things good. While she had many accomplishments, it will be Hillie's love and devotion to family and friends that will be most fondly remembered. She had so much hope in humankind, she encouraged and supported everyone in all that they did and more importantly, she told them so.
We will always be grateful that we had a chance to double date with the most loving couple the world will ever see. We pray...

There are many, many adjectives which would describe Hilly Cass perfectly...she was an amazing
woman, in every sense of the word. I was especially appreciative of her positive slant on life and people.
I was not at all surprised to read that she passed in her sleep--everything she did was accomplished with quiet, sincere and dignified simplicity. Hilly was a beautiful woman, in every sense of the word--inside and out!
We will miss her smile and warmth very much....

My heart and prayers go out to Hillie's family, friends and specially to her beloved Malcom. She brought light and joy to every room she entered with arms extended and a smile and a kind word for everyone. Though small in size she wrapped you with her warmth and humor and left you a much better person for having met her. She was truly an angel amoung us.
