Daddy I'm gonna Forever Miss you but the memories I have of You and Mama and Me will Alway's be with Me I Love You Daddy Forever

My deepest condolences are extended to the family. Lea/ Black was a known and respected barber in the Lower ninth ward for many years. He was loyal and kind to his customers as well...I remember when my father was ill and couldn´t physically come to the shop how he came to the house and cut his hair; unfortunately, when he passed away "Lee" gave him his last hair cut. Rest well our friend, your kindness will always be well remembered!

RIP MY friend, mentor, motivator, confidant and great story teller. You always gave me great advice and encouragement. I always listened to you and found ways to use everything you told me. Thank you sir, I appreciate everything.

I met mr Lee in 1994 ,he was always a kind person,we would sit in the barber shop and talk about any and everything for hours,He was a great friend to me and will be forever remembered and missed,I thank God that he came into my Life. Get your rest until we meet again on the other side.

Mr. Lea was such a kind person, been knowing him all my life. He service three generations of my family with haircuts, my father, brothers and son. May God be the glory. Condolences to the family and I pray that God continue to bless all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his children and grandchildren may God continue to bless those wonderful memories we enjoyed with him Terrel and Lynda Leflore.

Mr. Lea was my barber, neighbor, and one of the coolest dudes in the 9th Ward. Loved him and the entire family. Prayers for peace and comfort from the Bates family. Benton Street love!
