Not sure what to say?

Sally, Chip, and Beverly, hope you are very well and strongly moving onward. Keep plowing and make time for smelling the roses. Rake some leaves this Fall. GB

I am sorry for your dads death this summer. I hope you are getting on with your situation as well as possible and The physical storm left you alone , it hard enough dealing with the spiritual storm. Hiram. Was very nice to me and I was a stranger to him . Love GB

Dear Chip,
I'm sure you don't remember me, but we met years ago at SMA in Atlanta. Your father was one of my favorite people in the world--and probably most feared! He almost literally saved my academic life in the doctoral program at UGA while he was still Chairman. I'll never forget him--either as a scholar/educator or, more importantly, as a man. He will be missed. All the best.

Dear Beverly, I send my condolences in your father's death. I never knew about his many accomplishments. I was reminded of you, Sally, Christopher and your mother. All the best to all of you. Maggie Attaberry, Athens, Ga.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dear Chip and Andy, and family,
I read the obituary of your father today in the Athens paper. What a wonderful, long life he had. How proud you all must be that he lived to be 94. I have such fond memories of your mother also. My heartfelt sympathy to each of you at this time in your life. We lost our daughter Juli in April a year ago, so we have her two teenage boys with us now. Friends and family will mean so much to you at this time. With sincere condolences, Melissa Vasenden

Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.
We extend our most sincere condolences to you.
Love, Neil, Laurie and MaryRuth.

Beverly,
Sorry to read of your father's death. It sounds as though he enjoyed every minute of life, and all it had to offer. My condolences to you and Chris.

Andy, Sorry to hear this news. When I joined the Faculty in 1987, Hiram was still in his office. He retired there after and I remember you telling me that he had all of his office materials and books at home. My office looks much like that now. But I understand he enjoyed his long retirement and was an active card player. I am sure he loved all the grand kids too. Hope all is well with you and the family.
