My heart is sad and he will be a memory remembered, we shared so many great band, high school days. Knowing he knew the language of music which he shared and continued is inspirational to me. May God be with the family during this time of sadness, and be a comfort to you. He was a good guy way back and lived out his life the same. sending prayers of peace.

Eddie was the guy who always had a smile on his face. I can still see him back in 1970 driving his blur Datsun pickup. Please accept my condolences. We just lost a really good guy.

Very sad to hear this. Ed and I had known each other since we were in school together at Mandeville High School. It was partly his influence that convinced me to go to SLU, major in music, and pledge for Phi Mu Alpha. Since I had no vehicle and did not drive, he brought me back and forth from Hammond to Mandeville, Louisiana.
After SLU we drifted apart due to job-related locations, etc. I had only reconnected with him on FaceBook a couple of years ago and was hoping to reconnect...
