Not sure what to say?

Our deepest condolences.Hiram played baseball for my dad.My dad really enjoyed having him on his team.Blessings and prayers.

Hiram was the best athlete in our class! Which says a lot as there were many excellent athletes at McKinley High School at the time. He excelled in everything he took up, on land and in the ocean. So unfortunate that he was taken away at such a young age. Condolences to his ohana and rest in peace. Enjoy riding the endless wave.

Hiram was the hardest worker on our team. Always first in sprints no matter what the distance. Respect. All his sports accolades were well deserved. It´s consoling to know that he´s reunited with his Hirai ohana. RIP my friend.

Hiram was always involved in many sports at school. He also loved surfing with the gang and enjoyed other water sports. While he was able, he made it a mission to stay in top physical condition throughout the years. With deepest sympathy to the Hirai family.

Hiram was a great athlete; football quarterback and the 1973 Hawaii State Pole Vault Champion at 13 feet (I saw him make it). He was a friend to many and is missed. God's blessings to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend "Hiram Hirai." Attached is 2 photos of Hiram when we went to the Big Island to watch the Iron Man Triathlon together. Those were good times my friend!
