Read MoreAlthough I hadn't seen Ike since I left Portland State in 1971, I often thought about how earnest and decent he was. The world needs more men like Ike.
Ike was part of a group that hung out at a study table in the PSU library that consisted of the English brothers, the Jensen brothers, the Sang sisters, sometimes his brother, Yoshi, and myself.

Very sorry to hear about Ike.
I have very fond memories of playing on Ike's indoor coed soccer team from ~1993 to 2009. He was always positive and intensely hustled while playing. It was inspirational to see him play so well even though he was older than all of this teammates. He was a very nice man.
May he rest in peace. My sympathies to his family and friends.
