Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working for Dr. Nishiyama for 14 years. He was an excellent physician and boss. He had a very strong work ethic and came to work everyday with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

I had the good fortune to work with Dr. Nishiyama during his time at the Cincinnati VAMC. He was an outstanding physician, service chief, and colleague. I appreciated his enthusiasm and dedication to patient care. He was always available for discussions with clinicians to determine the best course of action for the care of their patients. He has been missed. My condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Dr. Nishiyama was by far one of my favorite doctors to work with at the VA. He would always come down to our office to visit and tell stories. He will definitely be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

I was Dr. Nishiyama's secretary in Nuclear Medicine back in the late 80's and he was great to work for. Walked in the door with a smile and very pleasant. He always took time to treat his staff out to lunch regularly.

I will always laugh remembering how i had to follow him down the hall as he dictated orders.

A great loss of a wonderful, brilliant man.

Blessings for his family and may God wrap his loving arms around each of you. We all loved him dearly.

I am deeply saddened by Dr. Nishiyama's death. I met him many years ago at the VA when I was first starting as an Endocrine Case Manager. He was kind, patient, and always accessible. He will be missed.

We are very saddened to learn about Dr. Nishiyama's passing.

I am afraid that I cannot make for the visitation but I will be thinking of his family.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Nishiyama-san.

Peace,

Harue Marquardt

So sad to hear of Dr. Nishiyama's passing. He was such a sweet man and a very good physician. When he retired from the VA, there was no one that could replace him, so he went back to help out. That is the kind of person he was. We both started at the VA around the same time and looked forward to retirement. He is thought of fondly and I offer my condolences to his family and friends.
