I just learned of your dad/grandad/greatgrandad's death in August.
A reader of the Jewish News for years, I knew his name from his many incredible accomplishments. Then, in 1983, he conducted my oral licensing exam in NJ. It was held in his wonderful West Orange office.
I have always felt honored to be granted licensure by Hirsch Lazar Silverman.
