Not sure what to say?

I used to work for a large timber company in the reforestation department. Hobe would come buy to make recommendations on different treatments. What a guy. One of the best. He had a quick wit and could come up with stories that I still laugh about to this day. Sorry I am so late in writing something, but I lost touch with Hobe and didn't know about his passing. One of a kind. I will miss him

Hobe was a very special person and friend. He will always have a place in my heart. He will be missed by all of those that had the good fortune to meet him. God Bless!

Hobart was truly a special person and the leader of a very special family. He represented all the right things in life; took much pride in his family and the many friends that surrounded his life. I was honored to coach his son Dan and was fortunate to share a special time in the Jones life. A true MVP person who has earned his reward in Heaven.. May he rest in peace

Hi Dan and Bart: my prayers are with you and your family. I still to this day after so many years remember our hockey games, our summer days of golf at Rose City and our street hockey games at your house, and your mom and dad were always there to support, what a blessing!! I know these will be tough days ahead but just remember the good times, the times your parents were always there for you and know they are in a special place together again! God Bless!!

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the Hobe Jones family:
I am sure your have heard many times what a great guy your dad was and he was. We had many great times together while working for Wilbur-Ellis Co. We traveled many miles together in our early days with the Co. He was one of a kind and one of the best friends I had during my time with weco. I am very happy that Just a few weeks ago an email from Bruce Alber, prompted me to call Hobe and we had a wonderful conversation about old times. I was so sorry to hear...

Jones Family. Met your Dad in the early seventies. He worked a lot with us trying to develop better ways to improve reforestation results especially slash burning. We became good friends and always kept in touch even though we retired many years ago. We got together a couple of times a year on the river. Never caught many fish, but enjoyed each others company. I will miss our phone calls and our grumbling about politics. Your Dad was a good man and will be missed.

He was a truly wonderful and special man. I will remember him for his quick wit and intellegence. He was a wonderful friend to Jack! I know they are now up there in heaven fishing ...hunting...celebrating being together again ...I know your Mom is happy to have Hobe back healthy again and nearby!! He will always have a very specail place in my memory...he had a big heart!! Thinking of you all.
with deepest sympathy...
