Hobart L. "Coach" Powell Sr.

To the Powell family so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr.Powell.Such a fine man and great coach.Being a former baseball player and playing against Hobie in high school. Mr.Powell told me a story that when he was in the minor leagues with the Yankees they had to wear hand me down uniforms from the big league club and he received jersey #4 worned by the great Lou Gehrig.That jersey couldn't have been worned by a better man.RIP Hobe Powell!
