We fellow railroad guys knew him as Humpy and thought of him as a strong role model to young engineers learning his trade. He is remembered by us as a humble and extremely professional engineer. I have no doubt that his shoes will be hard to fill. Thoughts and prayers are with friends and family at this time of loss.

Holbrook, or as I more enjoyed calling him Holby, holds a special place in my heart. I worked with Holby in Cardiac Rehab for many, many years. He had a loving and infectious demeanor that drew you in and made you want to be better. Although Holbrook was the patient I learned more from him than he did from me.

Thank you to his family for sharing him Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for multiple years on end!

Youre in my thoughts and prayers,
Justine Hardy

"Humpy" (his nickname at CSX), was one of the kindest men I've ever known. He always remained cool under difficult circumstances and there were a lot of co-workers that looked up to him. He was a really good engineer as well and knew his job like few others. There were many young engineers that gained knowledge from him. I know his children and grandchildren will miss him dearly and I hope the good memories will sustain them for this trying time. Rest in peace, Humpy.

Rest In Peace my friend. Im sure you have heard the words welcome home my good and faithful servant!
Mason will be missed by all who knew him. Such a wonderful man and friend.my heart goes out to each of you . I pray that God will grant each of you an extra measure of grace during this this difficult time. Perry Lynes(Csx).
