Holly Anne Martin Jackel, 46, of Lakewood, formerly of Sea Girt, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, after a brave nine year battle with cancer. She was born on Oct. 29, 1966 in Neptune. She resided in Sea Girt and graduated from Sea Girt Elementary School and St. Rose High School, Belmar. She also attended Brookdale Community College.
She was predeceased by her father, George P. Martin, in 1973. She is survived by her husband, Kieth W. Jackel; four sons, Douglas, Keith (Nicole), Ryan and Conor. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Karen Martin and fiance' Carl Osborn; her brother, Christopher and fiance' Michelle Wilburn; and two grandsons, Riley and Aiden.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy. 88, Brick, (colonialfuneralgroup.com). A funeral mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at St. Mark's Church, Sea Girt. Burial will be private. I was so sorry to hear about your daughter. I just found out from Marci tonight so it was too late to make it to the viewing. I'm so so sorry. You know if I knew I would have been there. If there's anything I can do please just let me know. I can't drive yet but Mike usually drives me where I need to go. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless you and Holly.
