Holly was born on December 19, 1974 and passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. Holly was a resident of Metairie, Louisiana at the time of her passing. Holly was a graduate of Mandeville High School and LSU Nursing School. She was married to Joey Ries. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until Service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Holly's name to The Children's Diabetes Foundation at www.childrensdiabetesfoundation.org.

HOLLY WAS A SPECIAL PERSON WITH A BIG HEART,SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HER FACE AND NEVER COMPLAINED,SHE LOVED COFFEE AND HAVING LUNCH WITH FRIENDS,SHE WAS A JOY TO BE AROUND,AND ANYONE WHO KNEW HER,FELL IN LOVE WITH HER KIND AND GENEROUS SPIRIT!!

I am so sorry for your loss. Holly was a special person whose sweet spirit I will always remember. Having known her in high school and having seen her fighting tenacity in dealing with diabetes, I have always been inspired by her.Love and prayers to her family.
