In Loving Memory of Homer Byrd Jr.
We, your Langhorne brothers and sisters, family and friends- the real deal
Have fractured hearts due to this immeasurable loss-one that we know only God can heal
We do know that He will bring us through this storm as He has always done before
For, we have, with you and Homer by our sides-made many visits to Jordan's chilly shores
I usually try to say something nice about the deceased and sometimes it is a bit of struggle to find

To the Byrd Family,
My family and I would like to extend to you and your family our deepest condolences during the loss of your beloved husband/father/brother/grandfather. If there is anything we can do to ease your hurt please let us know.

We have prayed to God to give you strength during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you. Mr. Byrd will truly be missed by the many he came in contact with. Now gone from among us, but never forgotten. lt time.

To the Byrd Family,
Homer was in school with me and he always had a beautiful smile. Even though he is absent from the flesh, his spirit and love will always be with you. Hold on to God's unchanging hand.

To the Byrd family, I send condolences from my family. I've known "Bootsy" for over twenty years and every time he greeted me he was always very pleasant. He will be missed and never forgotten.

To the Byrd Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of loss. Be blessed!

To Audrey, Aulinda, Brenton, Brian, & Cousin Bea: Our deepest condolences go out to you during your time of bereavement. We pray that God continues to strengthen your family during this difficult time.

May God watch over you during your time of grief. Mr. Byrd was a stranger to no one. His warm smile and friendly conversation was so heart warming. My children still talk about Mr. Byrd stopping by to visit on our regular commutes to Surry from Williamsburg. He has left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Take comfort in knowing just how special a person he was to so many.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God continue to comfort and bless you.
