Dear Mae and family,
I am fortunate to have had Homer as a dear friend. Homer was one of the leaders of our golf group at Ludlow Country Club. One time while playing golf with Homer I reached for my golf club in my golf bag, only to find a big turtle looking at me, that was Homer. A good family man, a leader of men, a Fire Chief for the Town of Ludlow, a veteran of The Great Generation, and a lot of fun to be with, that was Homer.
God be with you Homer and may you rest in...

We’re going to truly miss our friend. A remarkable man who led an amazing life. He taught us a lot about the magic of laughter in one’s life.

Homer will always be in our thoughts.

A great person and leader. Thank-you Chief for your dedication and service to your country, town and department. Rest in Peace, job well done.

Dear Mae and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of Homer’s passing. He was a wonderful friend of my dad’s (Pete Buckley). I bet they’ll be playing a round of golf or cards together in Heaven! My condolences to Homer’s family and may he Rest In Peace.
