Thank you Homer Joy for writing "Streets of Bakersfield," an homage to the forgotten working man of America. As one of ten kids from Heber, Arkansas, I'm guessing you came from working class roots, as I did, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Thanks for your gift of music to the world. Best wishes to your surviving family members and friends. You certainly were well-loved, and will be well-remembered. Godspeed.
