Not sure what to say?

I will always remember you, you had a big impression on me even before we met, I remember saying to you once see ya soon Homer, You said Wait.. You walked over to me Hugged My Neck and said Your My Brother and That Makes us Family.. I could tell so many story.. but I'm going to say I LOVE & MISS YOU VERY MUCH.. R.I.P MY BROTHER

I miss you Dad. Every. Single.Day

Thank you Homer Joy for writing "Streets of Bakersfield," an homage to the forgotten working man of America. As one of ten kids from Heber, Arkansas, I'm guessing you came from working class roots, as I did, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Thanks for your gift of music to the world. Best wishes to your surviving family members and friends. You certainly were well-loved, and will be well-remembered. Godspeed.

The legacy you left behind will always be remembered.

I was young but i do remember the dances in Elk.. Thanks for all your music. RIP Homer... I'm sure you'll be singing in heaven soon.

Wish there would've been just one more time... miss you, Dad. - Rudy
