TO Homer's Family and Friends,
In 1999 I wrote a story for the Daily Globe about Christmas in Ironwood in the Thirties. Soon after, I received a letter from a Homer "Biz" Marander who introduced himself to me. He wrote that he enjoyed my article so much "that he went to the Dale Carnegie Library, made copies and sent them to his relatives." From that day on, we became letter writers going back and forth.
