Homer is a potent force of nature and not a being that one can easily refer to in the past tense. He will live in our memories as a larger than life leader, friend, intellect, compassionate server of mankind. For me, he symbolizes the hero who lives and teaches the right course of action in support of his friends and principles. I am a better human for knowing and learning from Homer.

I feel fortunate that Homer Reynolds was in my life. He had a gift--he brought joy to all around him. We will all miss Homer's wonderful smile and compassionate eyes, but our loss is Heaven's gain. Margaret, you raised a beautiful man.

I enjoyed my time practicing law with Homer. He had a great relationship with his clients. His expertise attracted clients to him, but his infectious smile often made them friends.

Homer made everyone he came in contact with feel like you were his good friend. SMU was so fortunate to have such a dedicated and loyal alumnus. We will miss him on the Hilltop, however, he will not be forgotten and his contributions of leadership and friendship will live on forever.
