To the Simmons family, I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Homer.I worked with him at Norfolk-Southern and will always remember his kindness and sence of humor.Homer was a good friend and will be missed.God Bless your family Bruce Pelish Vinton Va

I have thought of your family often, even though I did not know you very well. I have had you in my prayers for quite some time and will continue to pray for you. My mother fought this and it has been the hardest thing my children and I have ever been through- God Bless- Kristen Howell, LPN Parkway Vinton

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Doris and Family,
I am sad to hear of Homer's passing but celebrate the fact that he is with the Lord. His example of a husband, a father, and a Godly man, is only to be desired by us all. I will never forget the positive impact that he had on my life during my teen years. He truly lived his life as an example of Christ's Love and I am a better person today to have known him.

Dearest Doris, Sherre, Scott and families,

We are so sorry to learn of Homer's death.
Doris you and Homer are very special people and we feel blest to have you in our lives.
It is our human quality to grieve, but what a wonderful knowledge to know that as Christians we will be reunited in Heaven with no illness, no tears. What a joyful time that will be.

We love you,
