Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to read of Nonie's death. I was her friend when I was Dean of Students at Marylhurst. She visited me often. God Bless you, Nonie. I know you are happy now. Dr. Mary Maples

My heart goes out to the Scott family for the loss of my special friend Nonie. Having just heard of her passing I am extremely sad not having seen her these last few years. Nonie was one of my very special students at Marylhurst College(now University)when I was Dean of Students in the late 60s. We kept in touch for many years after that. I loved her dearly and pray for her always. Blessings on her parents
Dr. Mary Finn Maples, Professor Emerita University of Nevada, Reno

I attended 7th and 8th grades at St. John Fisher School with Nonie. As a transfer from public to Catholic school she made me feel welcomed along with other classmates. Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord....may God comfort her family

I went to grade school with Nonie at St John Fisher. I hadn't seen her in many years, but have often thought of her, and other athletic girls of that era, who didn't get the opportunites to participate in sports that are now available to young girls. Nonie was alway positive and friendly. My condolences to the Scott family.

Since 1959, Our family has lived up the hill from Nonie and her family. I too have wonderful and special memories of our times together. A few years ago we re connected and we had an opportunity to catch up. It was so much Fun! ...Earlier this month we decided to meet for lunch the next time I was in town. It was when I called back to finalize the plans that I was told she had passed away the day before. I am so sorry! Thinking of Nonie will "always" bring a smile to my face. My thoughts...

I went to grade and high school with Nonie and even saw her after sometimes. She was a warm friendly gal and I am sad to hear about this. My thoughts and prayers go out to her parents and family. She will be remembered in prayers too, now seeing the face of God! So sorry.

Our family lived around the corner from the Scotts. I have many fond memories of those days, and remember Nonie as being very feisty. I admired her independent spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

So sad to see a grade school and high school friend pass from this life. I can still see Nonie's freckles and recall her impish ways. Those were important chapters in our lives and are cherished. To her dear parents, I am so very sorry for your loss.

I just met Nonie and her family but she made me feel welcome I will miss her
