Not sure what to say?

I knew Tom from the East Side. I know he was from Scecina. I was a few years younger. I think we were at Lourdes together in the 50s. If anyone knows whether he went to Lourdes let me know. He helped me a lot during a difficult time in my life - when I was a teenager. My condolences to Tom's family. Joe Romer, Washington, DC

Carol, TJ, Adam,
Brent, Chad and I are so sorry for the reason we are reminiscing about our fun times in Ridge Hill Trails with Tom and all of you. We talked about our days at the pool; usually from 10 to 5, and when Tom and Roger would get home. Roger would stand on the deck and wave to us; that was our signal to abandon the pool and think about dinner. Many evenings I pulled food from the refrigerator and pantry, while you did the same, and we trudged across the cul-de-sac to eat with...

Soards and Carroll was much more than a law firm.

Mary (Soards) Pennington

It is difficult for me to express how much he meant to me and how grateful I am for all that he did for me. He took a chance on hiring me twenty years ago. I have thought of him often this past year and missed seeing and talking to him at work every day. I have many great memories of the years that I...

Tom was a good friend and a fine Judge. We will miss him and his wry sense of humor! He made the Court a fun place to work.

Judge Cynthia J Ayers

I met you before I knew you. I met you the first time I experienced an honest person, not honest because they were being "good", honest because it was just a core part of who they were.

I met you the first time I experienced commitment, the kind you have for people no matter what life brings you. The first time I experienced honor, sacrifice, intelligence, justice and generosity.

I met you for dinner the night your son brought the girl home he would eventually be married...

December 13th 2018 was declared Thomas Joseph Carroll Day by Mayor Joe Hogsett for Tom's thirty-one (31) years of public service

Honestly, there are too many memories to recount. Our Great Uncle Tom was in an instrumental part of our clan. Whether he took your ear for a quick snack, watched a Colts game with candy or chased us around Nana and Papa's house, we always felt the connection with our Great Uncle Tom. One of our fondest Uncle Tom staples was the 4th of July. He would always show up with show-ending fireworks. And not just one or two or three, but hundreds of amazing fireworks. Growing up all the...
