Yesterday, I learned of the death of Judge Mario Ramirez. I am saddened by the loss of of my good friend and colleague. I met Judge Ramirez soon after I became District Judge of the 105th District Court in Nueces, Kleberg and Kenedy Counties. It did not take long for us to establish a good and lasting friendship.
