Doug and Marty's Family:
My deepest sympathy in Marty's passing. I worked for Marty as his secretary for three years before his retirement from Shipman & Goodwin LLP. His work as a Trustee of the Hartford Grammar School Scholarship Fund was very dedicated and productive, providing scholarships to students who met the qualifications, said fund, which transitioned in 1998 to the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (HFPG). Marty was a giant for Exeter- a class president- , a giant for Princeton, and a "first citizen", for so many municipal, County, and Fellowship organizations.
With sadness for loss, we rather Celebrate his life and his splendid influences.

Peter, Doug & Leslie - so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have great memories from my youth thanks in part to your father and his involvement in our community. A real pillar! I truly hope his final days were as comfortable as possible and that he is resting peacefully with your Mom.
