Not sure what to say?

Ruth,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your sorrow over the death of your loving daughter, Hope. May you and your family find peace and strength in the love and support from friends and neighbors.

What a life well lived! Hope's passion for service to those less fortunate, her commitment to family and friends and her amazing love for VEFC will continue to guide me as I strive to be a good citizen of this earth. To Hope's family - in this most sad and painful time surround yourselves with beautiful memories and celebrate her life. I pray that in the days and weeks ahead that you will find peace and comfort in each other.

What an inspiring and gentle spirit Hope Colvin was and what beautiful memories she has created over the years for her family and friends to cherish. Her unfailing dedication to VEFC and the children we have served is a testament to that very special spirit of HOPE.
My love and prayers are with you.

We are in shock, disbelief and so very sad. Our prayers and condolences to Tim, Heather, Ruth and all her family as well as to the VEFC family. We are so grateful for time shared with her during the holidays. With love, Chris and Sue (formerly from next door).

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with Hope's family and VEFC. I have known Hope for a short period of time but her love for family, friends and VEFC was evident. She will be missed!!

I will cherish the memories of my children running for Hope's office on supply/copy runs to VEFC - oh how they loved her! Hope was a true angel, one of the kindest people I have ever had the privelage to know. She will be terribly missed by all. Heather and Tim, your mother beemed when she spoke of you. Please take comfort in the joy and pride you brought to her life. My deepest sympathies to your entire family.

Tim - I am so sorry. I cannot convey how much I valued your Mom's friendship. She touched so many lives and always had a smile, kind words, and was genuinely interested in everything. I am sorry I can't be there in person but know that I am thinking of you and your sister. My thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy is with you. Patti

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to Hope's family. I worked with Hope at VEFC for years. Her devotion to VEFC and the children served were remarkable. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

There aren't enough words of praise for the dedication Hope put into VEFC. I worked with her for 5 years and never once did I doubt her committment to the organization and her love for the children who came into her home. Heather and Tim, she spoke with pride whenever she was asked where you were and what you were doing. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.
