Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to "Doc's" family, and Kathy. We were fortunate enough to know Doc through Polka music. He loved to dance and was a great supporter and promoter of Polka Music. The world has lost a nice man. We will miss him. I'm sure he is dancing in heaven. Carol & Eddie Forman

I had known Horace since Kindergarten, in Leesburg, NJ Tonight I went to our informal for the class of 1958 Millville High School. I was so looking forward to seeing him this evening, and we were told that Horace died. Our prayers are with his family and children.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

WE MET HORACE AND KATHY AT A POLKA DANCE MANY YEARS AGO AND HAVE BEEN FRIENDS EVER SINCE. WE FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM AND WE WILL MISS HIM. WE HAD SUCH GREAT TIMES TOGETHER AND LOVED SHARING OUR STORIES ABOUT OUR GRANDCHLDREN. HE WAS SUCH A PROUD GRANDFATHER. WHAT A WONDERFUL FRIEND WE HAVE LOST!
WE ARE SO GLAD HE WAS SUCH A PART OF OUR LIVES AND WE WILL CERTAINLY MISS HIM AT "TABLE 8".
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO KATHY AND ALL OF HIS FAMILY.

Although it's been years since I last saw Horace due to moving back to my native Illinois, I have many good memories of him. Since we both liked polka music I'd often see him at the dances in central Pennsylvania and even attended a couple of the parties he would host. He'll be missed by many of us. Thanks Horace, for being a friend to so many of us.

I first met Doc at a polka dance in Harisburg,Pa. where I also met my wife Mary. We have had so much fun in the ensuing years with him and and Polka Dances are going to be little less fun without him, but WE WIILL POLKA ON IN HIS MEMORY. Love you Doc. Mike and Mary Zabrucky

Dr Bacon was the type of person who you always looked foreward to meeting once again. His hand shake, hug and smile would warm your heart. His bits of wisdom were short, varied and always pertinent. Our favorite is "Always play with your own age group." And play he did...first one on the Polka dance floor and the last to leave. No one enjoyed polka dancing as much as Horace. No one was more financially generous to the Capital City dance club or Polka at the Farm Show than this gentle...

We don't understand why Doc was taken from us so soon, but God does. God wants us to become acquainted with many different people in the course of our lives, so that when we meet the right ones, we can appreciate & be grateful for them and Doc was one of those people.
We feel blessed to have know him and loved him as part of our family. We share two beautiful granddaughters with him and will always tell them what a wonderful man their grandad...

I first met Dr. Bacon when I worked at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg. He and his wife were so nice to me and my family. I am sad to know he is gone.
