I'm sorry to have just recently been made aware of Mr. Bacon's passing and being so late with my condolences to the entire Bacon family and loved ones.
Please accept my apologies for my belated thoughts and memories of Horace.
Horace and I worked at the Newspaper during the same period of time and became very close during those years.
What I remember most was NOT the work part but rather the "after work" part, where we would 'unwind' with a beverage or two and sit in one or...

Papi you've been a Father figure and advisor in my life for many years. My heart is heavy from the loss of your light in my life. Thank you and God for having our paths cross in this journey we call life. You will be forever missed but never ever forgotten.

So sorry to hear of the passing of my family whom i after so many years growing up on Suffolk Street found out that we are family i along with my 2 brothers Danny and Raymond enjoyed the Christmas dinner we had on Bristol street a few years ago he will be sadly missed may God give the family the strength needed during this sad moment and bless his soul.
