Not sure what to say?

To the Carson family, We will truly miss the times when Sunset and I enjoyed planting our flowers in our yards. He will truly be missed .......making every kinda of gadget or Christmas tree wreath hangers. "Oh want a good neighbor" !. Mrs.Carson,You took very good of Sunset.Praying for Strength in this time of sorrow.

Sunset was one of those people you never forget. He was my supervisor from 1972 to 1979 in the Planning and Zoning Department of the City of Birmingham. I learned a lot about public service and life in general from Sunset. He taught us to sweeten our words and treat people with respect. He loved to say, "you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar." He loved God and his family and it showed in everything he did. Jacque, Chris, Casey and the rest of the family, you are all...

May our Heavenly Father wrap his loving arms around each member of Mr. Carson's family giving them peace, comfort and courage as they followed the road of sadness in the days ahead.I was sadden to learn that Mr. Carson had earned his Angel Wings. My husband and I met him when he help Roebuck Drive Methodist Church sponsor our Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack and was always there when we needed him. The sun shine brighter each day because he always had a smile on his face.

My Heartfelt Condolences to Sweet Miss Jackie and the Carson Family on the loss of our Dear "Sunset. Fond memories of the years spent working with him at City Hall in the Department of Community Development will be treasured for a lifetime. We were truly a "family" and could always count on Sunset to take care of us all. May the GRACE and PEACE of GOD embrace you during this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring

I have such wonderful memories of the MYF group at Roebuck Drive Methodist Church when Sunset and Jackie were counselors. You both were wonderful examples for us "kids ". Those are good times I will never forget. Thanks for loving us. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless you old friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

May the God of all comfort, bring comfort to the Carson family during these difficult times.

(2 Corin.1:3,4)

I have treasured memories of Sunset from the days when we were members of the Huffman High School ROTC Boosters Club. Attending rifle matches, the annual Turkey Shoot fund raisers and gathering at his house and church for socials. He loved the kids and was a true servant and encourager in all respects. Harold Payne
