To the Deford family.
I am saddened to read the news of the passing of Horace. I am sure we hadn't seen each other for at least sixty five years but I do remember him well from being classmates at Sunset High School in the mid 1940's. I still have my 1945 Sundial Year Book with his class picture at the top of page thirty five. Again I am saddened for your loss an of someone I had shared a place and time with so many years ago.

Jackie and Family: Dr. DeFord was such a nice person and I know he'll be missed greatly. I will certainly miss seeing him at psychiatry grand rounds. I am so sorry for your loss.
