Horace Kennedy Obituary
Knoxville, TN
Horace John (Preacher) Kennedy, age 79, of Knoxville, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Horace was a member of Church of Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Magie; three sisters and one brother. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Reba (Johnson) Kennedy; daughter, Mae Kennedy; brothers, Ralph, Joe (Wanda), and Albert Kennedy; sister, Delores (Clyde) Brooks; several nieces and nephews; and special family, the Johnson's.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 3, 2016, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., at Church of Jesus Christ, on Barnett Creck Road. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Jonathan Clabough and Rev. Herbert Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at
