Just learned moments ago of you loss and wished we could have been with you during today's celebration of life. Dads" are special in so many ways but mostly, because they are our best friend. I am very sorry to hear of Horace's passing. He was always a very kind gentleman , a good neighbor and a good farmer.

I am so sorry to hear of Horace's death, I met him last May in Surry for the first time. Horace was my chance to prove my connection to the Surry Co., King family. He agreed to have dna ran and we found that we matched 37 of 37 markers. He was indeed from the same family from whom I descend. I owe him so much for allowing me to pursue this. I extend my sincerest condolences to Horaces family, it is quite a loss. My heart goes out to all of you. May he rest in peace.
