Not sure what to say?

I was sorry to hear about Horace. I have fond memories or the " Good Old Days " when West Point and Avondale were both running well and textile powers ! Horace was always a pleasure to be around and I enjoyed getting to be with him at all the Fiber Buyers Conventions and the West Point " Golf Scrambles ". I lost touch with him over the last few years, but I will always have found memories of him and Jane.

Fran, Marion and Holden,

I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. His mother, Lucille Ellison McCurry, and my mother, May Belle Ellison Cooper, were sisters. There was a large age difference between Horace and me and I did not grow up in Opelika. I never knew him very well, but he was my cousin. I know how hard it is to lose your parents and my prayers are with you all. If you would like to get in touch, my address is 1314 Swallows Walk, Grayson, GA 30017. God...

Fran, Marion and Holden: We are so sorry to hear about Horace. He has been in our thoughts since we heard about his passing which was only last night. It brought great regret that we have not visited with him at some point in the past few years since being away from Opelika. We always loved Horace & Jane - it was hard to say one name without the other. Please know that we are praying for you and thinking of you during this time. Love, Ray (Columbo) and Ella Carol Bain Thornton

So sorry to hear of your dad's passing...
my regret for not getting by to see him in recent days runs deeper than you might
think, since he was specifically asking
about me, and about my possible knowledge
of family history, geneology, etc. I had
intended to come visit him and talk about those things during Christmastime,
but didn't get around to it. Hopefully,
the rest of us can keep in touch.
Your cousin, Bill Ellison

Fran, Marion, and Holden,
You are in my prayers.
